At an altitude of 2,000 meters, nestled in the Tyrolean mountains, this sports and activity hotel is located in the charming village center of Austria's highest winter sports resort. Thanks to its ski-in/ski-out location directly on the ski slopes, it's the ideal starting point for an active ski vacation and wonderful winter moments with the whole family. The provincial capital of Innsbruck can be reached within a 40-minute drive.

The traditional Sporthotel Kühtai combines warm Tyrolean hospitality with a cozy, feel-good atmosphere and, with its all-inclusive concept, offers the ideal setting for a relaxing family vacation at over 2,000 meters above sea level. In a sporty yet family-friendly atmosphere, you'll find a lobby with reception, several lounges, and a hotel bar for relaxing after an active day in the snow. The inviting buffet restaurant will spoil you with regional Tyrolean specialties, Austrian classics, and international dishes in a pleasant atmosphere. From the spacious panoramic sun terrace, you can enjoy magnificent views of the snow-covered Tyrolean mountains. For culinary variety, the popular mountain hut evenings feature traditional Burgundy fondue at the rustic DreiSeenHütte (Three Lakes Hut) or Italian delicacies at the Pizzeria Da Bruno. Those who want to end the day in a social setting will find the perfect meeting place at the trendy Bar 2020 opposite the hotel. A ski and boot room, elevator, free parking, and free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel complete the offerings. Pets are not allowed. Payable on site: Tourist tax EUR 4,- per person/night (for guests aged 15 and over).

The 51 comfortably furnished rooms combine alpine charm with pleasant living comfort and offer magnificent views of the snow-covered mountain peaks of Kühtai. Each room has a bathroom with bathtub or shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone, flat-screen TV, safe, and Wi-Fi. A bathrobe and slippers are provided for your use during your stay.
DS (2-2): Double room II, approx. 30 m², with parquet flooring, shower/WC, and south, west, or north-facing, without a balcony.

Winter fun
Guaranteed snow and fantastic skiing at 2,020 meters above sea level! As Austria's highest-altitude winter sports resort, Kühtai delights visitors from the beginning of December to the end of April with perfect snow conditions and impeccably groomed slopes. The Kühtai-Hochoetz ski pass gives you access to two ski areas with a total of 90 kilometers of slopes and 27 lifts. In the Kühtai ski area alone, you'll find around 44 kilometers of varied slopes, fantastic powder runs, the KPark with a freestyle area and SnowCross course, as well as night skiing (Wednesdays and Saturdays). A special highlight for families is the exclusive Gerbyland, located right next to the partner hotel Alpenrose. On approximately 2,000 square meters, little snow bunnies and piste adventurers will find snow tubes, a trampoline, a magic carpet, and many other attractions.
Thanks to the ski-in/ski-out location, you can step directly from the hotel's ski room onto the slopes in just a few steps and return just as easily at the end of the day. Ski passes can be purchased at the hotel reception. A sports shop, ski rental, and ski school can be found at Gerber Sports in the Mooshaus Winterresort and at the Drei-Seenbahn cable car. A free ski bus connects Kühtai with Hochoetz, Innsbruck, and the Imst region.
Away from the slopes, two perfectly groomed cross-country ski trails, a spectacular, illuminated toboggan run, winter and snowshoe hiking trails, and a variety of ski tours invite you to actively discover the impressive mountain scenery of Kühtai.

Wellness
After an exciting day on the slopes, the 500m² wellness area invites you to relax and rejuvenate. It features an indoor pool (6x4m) with massage jets and a waterfall, as well as a sauna area (for ages 14 and up) with a Finnish sauna, herbal steam bath, salt grotto, infrared cabin, and relaxation room with loungers.
