The unique mountain hotel impresses with its car-free location at 2.315m above sea level. It towers over the idyllic Weißsee, in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park and is surrounded by 22 mountain peaks and numerous glaciers. During the 20-minute ascent with the gondola lift (daily from 9 am to 4 pm) you overcome 835m in altitude - this already makes the journey here an unforgettable experience! Enjoy the tranquility and the surrounding nature in its purest form.

In addition to the rustic mountain hut atmosphere, this family-friendly mountain hotel offers a spacious lobby with a reception desk, cozy lounges, a panoramic restaurant with several dining rooms and regional delicacies, a charming winter garden, the self-service "Bergblick" restaurant, a sun terrace, and a ski storage room with boot dryer. Relax after an eventful day outdoors at the cozy hotel bar with a crackling fireplace. An elevator is available in the hotel. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. Free parking is available at the valley station of the Weißsee Glacier Cable Car.

Start your winter fun right outside the front door. 23km of perfectly groomed pistes of all levels of difficulty without waiting times and kilometers of untouched deep snow slopes as well as off-piste runs make the hearts of enthusiastic winter sports enthusiasts beat faster.
The mountain station of the Weißsee Gletscherbahnen is right next to the Rudolfshütte. A ski rental upon reservation and a ski pass service are available at the hotel. The ski school is located at the middle station of the Weißsee Gletscherwelt.
Not only classic winter sports enthusiasts cavort at the Weißsee. Ice climbers, snowshoe hikers and nature lovers will also find numerous opportunities in the high alpine mountains. 25km of perfectly groomed cross-country ski trails await you in the valley. Another cross-country skiing highlight is the 200km long Pinzga trail, which leads through open terrain on the south side of the Salzach Valley through the Oberpinzgau.
