The Vienna Boys´ Choir in the MuTh

They inspire concert audiences all over the world, are known as the youngest ambassadors of Vienna and make music with world-class musicians: the Vienna Boys' Choir.
When Maximilian I. moved his court music to Vienna in 1498 and ordered that there should be six singing boys among the musicians, the foundation stone for the Vienna Boys' Choir was laid. Today there are around 100 active boys' choirs, divided into four concert choirs. The repertoire ranges from the Middle Ages to contemporary music. The Vienna Boys' Choir has had its own concert hall since 2012: The MuTh. Architecture and acoustics make for an unforgettable concert experience: You sit in the middle of the music and the boys make sure that the spark jumps over.
