Description
Upon entering the world-famous Golden Hall of the Vienna Musikverein, adorned with gold down to the smallest detail, you immediately realize that you are not simply attending a concert, but rather experiencing a journey through music history in one of the most prestigious venues in the world. The highly professional, 30-piece orchestra, led by a conductor and accompanied by two singers, takes to the stage in magnificent 18th-century costumes, while thunderous applause fills the hall and the concert begins.
From the very first notes of the carefully selected movements from W. A. Mozart's most famous works – such as "Eine kleine Nachtmusik," "The Magic Flute," and "Don Giovanni" – the hall's unique acoustics become palpable, making the entire experience truly special. The program is complemented by solo concertos, duets, and symphonies that bring Mozart's musical legacy to life in a truly impressive way. With a performance of the most beautiful pieces by the Strauss dynasty, including the world-famous waltz "The Blue Danube" and the "Radetzky March," even lovers of Viennese waltzes will be delighted.
After 90 minutes, you'll be brought back to the 21st century. The concert ends with a standing ovation and calls for an encore, which are, of course, granted.
The Vienna Mozart Concert has been thrilling over 4 million guests since 1986 and is undoubtedly a significant part of Austrian musical culture.
