Description
The Volksoper is Vienna's great house for operetta, opera, musicals and ballet, which has been offering sophisticated musical entertainment for over 125 years.
The 2024/25 season features 10 premieres and 18 repertoire works, showcasing the full diversity of musical theater. This fall, the Vienna Volksoper will also celebrate the 200th birthday of waltz king Johann Strauss Jr. The premiere of A Night in Venice will take place on his birthday (October 25), and on November 29, the world premiere of Cinderella, based on Strauss's ballet fragment of the same name, will take place.
