Description
Nestled between the Blue Danube and lovingly tended vineyards, just a few minutes' drive from Vienna's city center, lies the picturesque Klosterneuburg. Visitors have many fascinating stories to discover. The medieval Verdun Altarpiece tells the story of the Bible in striking images. The Austrian Archduke's Hat, last used in 1989, can be admired in the treasury.
Austria's oldest winery, located in the monastery, invites you to a newly designed cellar tour. Light and sound installations enchant your senses, while seemingly floating wine bottles in the baroque cellar reveal the secrets of the wine's quality levels. Finally, a tasting of the fine wines is a must!
