Description
Amidst champagne, dancing, and glamour, the courtesan Violetta revels in the vibrant life of Parisian society. Her encounter with Alfredo awakens dreams of a different life. But money and social standing leave little room for feelings. Director Damiano Michieletto transposes La traviata to the dazzling Roaring Twenties at the Bregenz Festival, where Violetta must make a fateful decision against the backdrop of jazz clubs and decadent parties.
