Location
The cozy holiday huts are centrally located in Elbingenalp in the Lech Valley. The wild and romantic Lechtal offers numerous opportunities for relaxing or active holidays with hiking, mountaineering, mountain biking and cycling.
Distances
In the immediate vicinity of the holiday huts you will find grocery stores, restaurants, a doctor with a pharmacy and a public bus stop. The new village museum "Wunderkammer Elbigenalp", the carving school Elbigenalp, the Geierwally open-air stage and the show distillery "Lechtaler Haussegen" can be reached within 50-200m. Elbigenalp, the main town of the Lech Valley, is situated on a gentle hillside on the northern side of the Allgäu Alps and is only 36km from the district capital Reutte and only 30km from the well-known winter ski area of Lech am Arlberg.
Facilities
The 3 large holiday huts for up to 6 people (95m²) and the smaller cozy hut for up to 4 people (max. 3 adults and 1 child, approx. 50m²) are made in a rustic country house style and lovingly furnished. The outbuilding offers a lockable storage room for bicycles, prams and ski equipment as well as a shoe dryer. Outside there is a lawn with sun loungers, a barrel sauna, a barbecue area and a children's playground. Free parking spaces are available. Pets are not allowed. Electricity, water, heating, WiFi, bed linen and towels (1 hand towel and 1 sauna towel per person) included for the duration of your stay. Cot available free of charge. Lechtal Active Card from 18.5.-22.10.2023 included.
Huts
Larch, mountain pine and stone pine hut (approx. 95m²): Ground floor with open living-dining area with spacious dining area, fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, stove with oven, microwave, filter coffee machine, kettle, etc.), living area with sofa corner and flat screen -TV, 2 separate bathrooms (shower/toilet, hair dryer), relaxation room with flat screen TV and two sofas (if required as additional beds for the 5th and 6th person), hallway with cloakroom, direct access to your own terrace with table and seating . Upper floor with two spacious double rooms and an open wardrobe as well as relaxation loungers with infrared heaters.
Cuddly hut (approx. 50m²): Open living-dining area with spacious dining area, fully equipped kitchen, living area with comfortable sofa and flat screen TV, bedroom with double bed and additional bed (80x180cm; for 1 child up to 16 years) in rustic beam construction, additional bed in Living area (90x200 cm), open clothes rack, cloakroom, bathroom with shower and hair dryer, separate toilet, direct access to your own terrace with table and seating.
Winter fun
Skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and tobogganing. The Knittel ski lifts with summer toboggan run are approx. 700m away. A cross-country ski trail can be reached in a few minutes on foot.
Additional Costs
Local tax (from 15 years) approx. EUR 1.90,- per person/night. Final cleaning EUR 70,- per hut/stay or EUR 50,- for the cozy hut. Energy surcharge between EUR 5,- and EUR 10,- per day/hut depending on the season.
Other
Minimum stay: 5 nights in low season or 7 nights in high season. Arrival days: High season only on Saturday (Sunday subject to availability), low season only on Wednesday to Sunday.
