Location
The cottage is located amidst the alp area, complete calm, about 3km above Filzmoos. A little inhabited alpine cabin is located in 50m distance from here, apart from that is the cottage located in a secluded area. Driveway via a 1.5km long forest road.
Distances
Filzmoos with shops, a bakery in 3km. Tavern in 2km. Perfect initial point for hikes or bicycle tours to the "Rettenstein", to the "Ramsau" and to farmed mountain pastures. There is also a small pond about 30m below the cottage.
Facilities
Ground floor: the about 300 years old cottage with local flavour disposes of a big anteroom with a sink (warm water via a boiler) and a wood stove, living room with seats and a tiled stove. Small kitchen with electric cooker, oven, fridge and a coffee machine. 1 small twin room. 1 toilet, washroom. Upper floor: 2 bedrooms. In front of the cottage is an enclosed garden with seats, a well and a barbecue. On the ground floor is also a barn where, if existing, small calves are in. In the morning and in the evening the cows come for milking. Heating with wood stove, electric current is available. Please take your own bed linen and towels with you.
Additional Costs
Local tourism tax currently € 2,-/person/night, lump-sum for operating costs € 50,-/week. Pet € 20,-/week.
