Location Description of Stein an der Enns
The small resort (675 m), which belongs to the municipality of Großsölk, lies in a wide section of the Ennstal, 20 km east of Schladming, at the entrance to the Sölktälern, a 270 km² nature park. The diverse hiking offer includes valley and high mountain routes as well as hiking in the alpine pasture area (guided hikes in the summer months). In Stein 2 tennis courts. In the Gröbming cinema and outdoor pool, 4 km away. Disco in Tunzendorf, 3 km. Bathing lake near Aich, 11 km. Fishing in the Sölkbach. Typical of the region are the numerous, often beautifully situated, farmed alpine pastures.
