Location
Absolutely peaceful, on a slope, surrounded by meadows, close to the ski slope and the hiking paths. In winter the road continues up to about 150m - 300m to the house, depending on the snow conditions (snow chains may be required); in summer the road continues directly to the house.
Distances
The motto is: get on your skis and on the slope which can be reached via the Schattberg ski route! There you will have 270 km of downhill runs, 70 lifts, cross-country skiing, sledding, etc. and aprés-ski, of course! Perfect starting point for walking-tours into the Glemm Valley, bike rental, tennis, swimming pool etc. in the village in 1km.
Facilities
This well-maintained cabin has remained its original, charming and rustic character. There is a snuggery with lounge, a stove for heating and a chimney (firewood, and in winter also briquettes available), kitchenette with gas stove, chilly cellar to store foodstuff and beverages. Four-bed room with double bed and bunk bed. Hygienic earth closet (continuous emptying) accessible from the outside. light with LED-lamps. There is also a small safe available! In the garden there is a fireplace with a brickgarden grill with seats and lounge chairs. Enjoy the wonderful view onto the city center of Saalbach, the opposite uphill side and the the Glemm Valley, while you lay down on the "relax-bed", for 2 persons made of wood! Indulge yourself with the free use of the wellness area at the owner`s apartment house (about 400m away) including an infrared cabin and a sauna.
Additional Costs
Operating expenses € 100,- /stay in winter / 140,- in summer, local tourism tax currently € 2,45/person/night, mobility tax as of the 1st of May 2025 € 0,50/person older than 15/night. Pet € 10,-/night, deposit € 100, bed linen/towels can be rented for € 10,-/set.
*Price info*: for weekly bookings, the price is for 7 days / 6 nights! Arrival on Saturday anytime but departure on Friday (!) till 1 p.m.!
