Location
Located in a wonderful secluded area, high up at the hiking region Wildkogel, at the end of the Mühlbach valley. The cottage is reachable via a forest road.
Distances
The town Bramberg with shops in 13km, farmed hut, where you get milk, cheese, butter or beverages in 3km. The region around the cottage is perfect for hikers! There are numerous marked hiking trails and mountain bike trails. Experienced mountaineers can climb up the 2,362m high Großen Rettenstein. Here you may can also see capricorns!
Facilities
The cottage has been completely rebuilt inside and has on the ground floor: snuggery with kitchenette with sink, wood stove, oven and sitting area. Living room with dining table and couch. Upper floor: 2 double rooms, 1 four-bed room, 1 WC. Basement: 1 quadruple room with double and bunk beds. Shower/WC. Exit to the sun terrace with seating, barbecue and great views. In the fountain in front of the hut you can cool the food in the "natural fridge". Solar power available. Hot water with bath heater, heating with wood stove. Behind the hut Stall used by the cows on the pasture from June to September. Please do not smoke in the hut.
