Siófok is ideal for families with small children, as the beaches are very child-friendly and the water on the southern shore of Lake Balaton is shallow. Siófok is also recommended for young people because of the turbulent life and numerous entertainment options. Large, famous, busy holiday resort directly by Lake Balaton, in a busy, central position, 100 km south-west from Budapest, 50 km south from Balatonfüred. In the resort: supermarket, shops, butchers, bakers, boutiques, post office, bank, restaurant, bar, disco, night club, casino, folklore evenings, concerts, evening entertainment, cinema, attractions. Indoor pool, thermal pool, wellness centre, fitness centre, sauna, solarium, spa treatments, massage. Also: pharmacy, doctor.
