Location
The hut is situated in Kolm Saigurn, in a marvellous secluded location, surrounded by meadows, through which the Hüttwinklache flows, foaming and bubbling. The hut can be reached from Rauris via a toll road (weekly ticket approx. 7,-/car), through one of the most beautiful mountain forests with ancient stone pines and spruces.
Distances
The Hohe Tauern National Park, the immediate neighbourhood of the Großglockner or Sonnblick, many farmed alpine pastures are ideal for hikers, the Rauris valley invites you to go biking! Circular hiking trail from the hut! Nearest town Rauris 20 km. 50 m above is a farmed alpine pasture, approx. 400 m opposite a Naturfreundehaus, where you can stop for a bite to eat.

The hut has a large parlour on the ground floor with sitting area, couch, satellite TV connection, tiled stove, kitchen with electric cooker, oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, coffee machine, microwave. 3 WC. Upper floor: 4 bedrooms, 1 bath/shower/WC, 1 shower/WC. Central heating. W-Lan (EUR 15,-/week) on request. In front of the hut seating area, barbecue, fountain. E-charging station for cars at the hut (11 KW charging cable TYPE 2). Please do not smoke in the hut!

Electricity currently EUR 0.65/kwh, gas currently EUR 4.00/m³ (subject to change for 2025), local tax currently EUR 2.50/person/night, mobility tax from 1 May 2025 EUR 0.50/person older than 15 years/night, final cleaning EUR 180. Bed linen/towels for hire EUR 20,-/set, deposit EUR 300,-, pets EUR 35,-/week.
