Location
The Almdorf Flachau is situated on a slight slope and offers a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains and the village of Flachau. In the middle of the hiking and skiing area, the accommodation is ideal for your winter as well as summer holiday. Altitude: 920m.
The center of Flachau is a 10-minute walk away. The Almdorf is right next to the slopes, the Promi Alm ca. 100m next to the valley station of the Achter-Jet gondola lift. The ski area is part of the Ski amadé, Austria's largest ski area with a total of 860km of slopes and 270 lifts. In the village and at the valley station of the Achter-Jet gondola there are numerous ski hire shops, bicycles and e-bikes, restaurants, bars and shops. Hiking and mountain biking trails start directly from the hut. Two bathing lakes (free admission) at 2km distance. Minigolf, horse riding, beach volleyball, tennis courts etc. are available in the area.
Facilities
The chalet resort consists of an old part and a new part (Promi Alm). There is a sun terrace on the village square of Promi Alm. The rustic-modern wooden huts are between 90 and 160m² in size and offer 2-5 bedrooms with their own bathroom (double and four-bed rooms), depending on the size. All chalets have an entrance hall with cloakroom, ski/boot room with ski boot heater, a cozy parlor with divan and wood stove, fully equipped kitchen with electric stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, filter coffee machine, nespresso machine and water cooker. Each cottage has its own sauna with spa and rain shower/Kneipp hose, cable TV, Wi-Fi, Sonos music system and a balcony. In front of the huts sun terrace with garden furniture, sunbeds and Weber ball grill. Bread service. Coin-operated washing machine/dryer in the Promi Alm available. Public parking free of charge.
