THERMIA PALACE - Ensana Health Spa Hotel is located in the middle of a beautiful green park on the Piešťany Spa Island – a historic spa town with more than 100 years of spa tradition.
Piešťany has an excellent position in western Slovakia, not far from Bratislava and about a two-hour drive from Vienna. The second largest river in Slovakia separates the scenic Spa Island with water lily ponds and peacocks from the city. There are a total of four Ensana Spa Hotels on the island, plus three more in the city center, all dedicated to your health and well-being. You can reach the historic city center with nice restaurants, cafés and small shops within a few minutes' walk via the covered colonnade bridge. There are many sporting and cultural opportunities for active guests, including golf and tennis facilities and a music pavilion right on the Spa Island, as well as many other interesting places worth visiting in the vicinity.

The THERMIA PALACE - Ensana Health Spa Hotel, which opened in 1912, and the attached Irma Health Spa are two jewels of Art Nouveau architecture that, 110 years later, not only delight the eye but also calm the mind with their beautiful surroundings and interior spaces. After extensive and elaborate renovation work, they have returned to their original splendor. The relatively simple facade hides beautiful interiors in the Viennese Secession style, richly decorated, friendly and colorful, yet timeless and elegant. Thanks to the courteous service and the quality of their medical expertise and services, they absolutely deserve the title “luxury”.
Next to the light-flooded lobby with reception and concierge is the exclusive Café Alexander with its large sun terrace, exquisite coffee specialties, fine wines and piano music in the evening. Behind it are the Ferdinand and Hubertus salons, which can be booked for private dinners and events and offer a high level of privacy. The highlight of the hotel is the impressive and stylish Grand Restaurant with the valuable painting by Alfons Mucha. The high windows provide a view of the green nature of the spa island and thus underline the friendly ambience of the restaurant. Free WiFi is available in all areas.
