The cosy fireplace lounge and the hotel's own bar underline the traditional ambience of the hotel, which has existed since 1889 and can therefore look back on a long inn tradition. In addition to first-class service, typical Tyrolean hospitality and international flair, you can also expect a friendly reception area, a hotel shop and 2 seminar rooms. Culinary highlights from regional and international cuisine can be enjoyed in the hotel restaurant and in the traditional Altwirtstube parlour. Lift and free parking available at the hotel. Rooms
The 72 individual and exclusive boutique-style rooms and suites are equipped with modern amenities. They have a bathroom with bathtub, WC, hairdryer, bathrobe for hire, radio, telephone, flat-screen cable TV in HD quality, minibar, safe, WiFi and most have a balcony with a fantastic view of the surrounding mountain panorama. Under the motto ‘Plastic-free - from the roof to the reception’, the rooms and suites feature lovingly arranged details made from sustainably produced, local products such as handmade soaps from the region or new furniture lines made from ‘used pinewood’.

Winter fun
Igl's local mountain, the Patscherkofel, is an excellent ski area that offers challenges for beginners as well as for sporty skiers with diverse pistes from the Olympic downhill run to the family run. Modern lift systems ensure comfortable transport to the top and the snow-making system guarantees the best conditions on the slopes. There is also a large practice area with a tow lift next to the valley station. A single ski pass opens the gates to a total of 300 kilometers of pistes spread over nine ski areas around the hotel.
The Patscherkofel is approx. 1.5km from the hotel and can be easily reached with the free ski shuttle every 10 minutes. A ski bus shuttle takes you twice a week directly from the hotel to the Stubai Glacier, to the Axamer Lizum and to Schlick 2000. A cross-country ski bus runs 3 times a week to the perfectly groomed trails in the area.
Igls and the Patscherkofel is not only an experience for alpine skiers, but also for ski tourers, snowshoe and winter hikers, toboggan fans and ice skaters. Numerous winter activities are possible directly in front of the hotel. The top highlight of the region is guest bobsledding on the Olympic artificial ice bobsleigh track.
