The Sporthotel Igls is characterized by the diversity of its surroundings: the mountains, the culture, the city and the sporting challenges. Quietly located in the village center of Igls and still only a few minutes' drive from the train station, airport and motorway, the hotel is the ideal starting point for sporting activities and cultural excursions.
The proximity to the Tyrolean capital Innsbruck, which is also known as the sports capital of the Alps, leaves nothing to be desired. Modern architecture, exquisite restaurants and boutiques can be found here as well as cultural events, magnificent monuments and unique museums. Igl's local mountain Patscherkofel is a 2.246m high peak that you can reach on foot via beautiful hiking trails or with the Patscherkofelbahn cable car. Idyllic alpine huts line the way up. From hobby hikers to mountaineers - the area around the Sporthotel offers sporting activities for young and old. Via ferratas, nature trails, summer toboggan runs or tennis are just a few examples of the variety of opportunities that are available here.

Tradition and modernity meet stylish flair at the Sporthotel Igls. The spacious sun terrace, the cozy fireplace lounge, and the hotel's own bar underscore the traditional ambiance of the hotel, which has existed since 1889 and thus boasts a long tradition as an inn. In addition to typical Tyrolean hospitality, you can also expect a friendly reception area, a hotel shop, two seminar rooms, and a large lawn with sun loungers. Culinary highlights from regional and international cuisine can be enjoyed in the hotel restaurant and the traditional Altwirtstube (tavern). An elevator and free parking are available. Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel.

The 74 individual and exclusive boutique-style rooms and suites are equipped with modern amenities. They have a bathroom with bathtub, toilet, hair dryer, bathrobe, radio, telephone, flat screen cable TV in HD quality, infrared wall panel, minibar, safe, WiFi and mostly a balcony with a fantastic view of the surrounding mountain panorama. Under the motto "Plastic-free - from the roof to the reception", the rooms and suites feature lovingly arranged details made from sustainably produced, local products such as handmade soaps from the region or new furniture lines made from "used pine wood".

Rental of mountain bikes, 5 x weekly from June to October mountain hiking program from the Alpine School including guided hikes and Nordic walking introductory course, piano music at the bar several times a week in high season.

The Sporthotel Igls offers the perfect starting point for a golf holiday in the heart of the Tyrolean Alps. The Olympia Golf & Country Club is located in the immediate vicinity of the hotel and, with its 9 holes and spacious training area, is the perfect environment for ambitious golfers.
