Nestled in an idyllic mountain landscape and surrounded by breathtaking natural scenery, the Sporthotel Igls sits high above the rooftops of Igls, on the sunny Igls plateau. Quietly situated in the heart of Igls, yet only a short drive from Innsbruck's city center, the hotel is the ideal starting point for sporting activities and cultural excursions.

Tradition and modernity meet stylish flair at the Sporthotel Igls. The cozy fireplace lounge and the hotel's own bar underscore the traditional ambiance of the hotel, which has existed since 1889 and thus boasts a long tradition as an inn. In addition to first-class service, typical Tyrolean hospitality, and international flair, you can also expect a welcoming reception area, a hotel shop, and two seminar rooms. Culinary highlights from regional and international cuisine can be enjoyed in the hotel restaurant and the traditional Altwirtstube (tavern). An elevator and free parking are available. Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel.

Rooms
The 72 individually designed and exclusive boutique-style rooms and suites are equipped with modern amenities and offer breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain panorama. Each room features a bathroom with a combined bathtub/shower, toilet, hairdryer, complimentary bathrobe, infrared panel, radio, telephone, flat-screen HD cable TV, minibar, coffee maker and kettle, safe, Wi-Fi, and most have a balcony. Under the motto "Plastic-free – from roof to reception," the rooms and suites feature lovingly arranged details made from sustainably produced, local products, such as handcrafted soaps from the region or new furniture lines made from reclaimed pine wood.

JS (2-3): Junior Suite, approx. 30m², visually separated bedroom and living area with sitting area and balcony.

Winter fun
Igls' local mountain, the Patscherkofel, is an excellent ski area with diverse slopes, ranging from Olympic runs to family-friendly descents, offering challenges for both beginners and advanced skiers. Modern lifts provide comfortable access to the mountain, and snowmaking ensures optimal slope conditions. A large practice area with a T-bar lift is located next to the valley station. A single ski pass grants access to a total of 300 kilometers of slopes spread across nine ski areas surrounding the hotel.
The Patscherkofel is approximately 1.5 km from the hotel and can be easily reached every 10 minutes by the free ski bus. Another free shuttle service runs twice a week (Tuesdays and Fridays) in the morning directly from the hotel to the Stubai Glacier, Axamer Lizum, and Schlick 2000, and back again in the afternoon (registration required). A cross-country ski bus runs three times a week to perfectly groomed trails in the surrounding area.
Igls and the Patscherkofel mountain offer a fantastic experience not only for alpine skiers, but also for ski tourers, snowshoe hikers, winter hikers, tobogganers, and ice skaters. Numerous winter activities are available right outside the hotel. The region's top highlight is the opportunity to ride a bobsled on the Olympic-sized artificial ice track.

Health & Spa Igls, approximately 500m², features an indoor pool (approx. 8x4m), a sauna area with a Finnish sauna, infrared wall panel, Kneipp therapy area, relaxation zone with loungers, and a relaxation area with invigorating teas available all day.
