The idyllic hotel village was built from wood that is over 400 years old and thus exudes a very special charm. Perfect for soft winter holidays with the whole family - whether skiing or off-piste.
Facilities
The loving combination of tradition and modernity creates the special charm of the village of SCHÖNLEITN. The car-free complex features a central reception, a cozy bar, the Dorfstadl guesthouse restaurant, the Dorfwirt à la carte restaurant with Carinthian delicacies, a 24-hour self-service village shop, and four seminar rooms equipped with the latest technology. Free parking is available in front of the complex. Wi-Fi is free.
Payable on site: Dogs, including dog equipment: EUR 20,- per night. Towels and bed linen are changed daily. Bread roll service. Meals (breakfast buffet and/or dinner) can be booked on site, subject to availability. Local tax EUR 2.70 per person/night for those aged 17 and over.
Apartments
The apartments and suites combine tradition with modernity and offer enough vacation space for families of up to 6 people. The 94 suites and apartments, divided into 25 lovingly restored Carinthian farmhouses, are equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, safe, fully equipped kitchen or kitchenette (electric stove, refrigerator, coffee machine with tabs, microwave, dishes ) and living-bedroom with cozy dining area and 2 sofa beds. A wellness bag with a rental bathrobe and bath towels is available for the duration of your stay.

Activities
Natural MOVE sports & activity program according to the notice - sport, exercise, health & prevention for the whole family with various exercise units (e.g. preventative back training, body shaping, yoga, back fit, family fit fun units), gentle winter and snowshoe hikes and nutrition workshops, daily guest program during the holiday periods and high season.
If you book over Christmas, there will be a Christmas tree in every apartment/suite that you can decorate yourself.
For a fee: personal training, rental of snowshoes and toboggans, rental of a Naturel electric car BMWi3.
Winter fun
A winter holiday in the village of Schönleitn is a wonderful blend of skiing, a cozy village experience, and plenty of space for winter fun. Thanks to its optimal location in the border triangle, several ski areas are within easy reach, including the Gerlitzen Alpe and the Dreiländereck ski area in Austria, Kranjska Gora in Slovenia, and Tarvisio/Monte Lussarin in Italy. The Gerlitzen Alpe rises directly from the shores of Lake Ossiach and boasts 32 diverse ski runs and 20 lifts. The diverse mountain hut cuisine, 360° panoramic views, and numerous cozy sun terraces make your day of skiing an unforgettable mountain experience. The Dreiländereck ski area is particularly family-friendly, offering around 17 kilometers of varied slopes, seven modern lifts in sunny locations, wide slopes, a children's area, and cozy mountain huts for carefree skiing days for all ages.
The free ski bus takes you to the Gerlitzen Alpe and the Dreiländereck ski area several times a day at set times, taking approximately 20 minutes. A ski school with personalized advice and a ski rental shop are located directly in the village. Ski passes for the Dreiländereck and the Gerlitzen Alpe are available at reception. Across from the resort, a children's playground and a toboggan run await the little ones.
Furthermore, cross-country ski trails, snowshoe trails, and winter hikes around the resort invite you to enjoy some snowy activities.

The "Naturel SPA" wellness area features an indoor pool including a children's pool, a year-round heated outdoor pool, a Finnish sauna, a herbal sauna, a panoramic sauna, an infrared cabin, a fitness room, and relaxation rooms.
For a fee: massages and cosmetic treatments, and personalized nutritional advice.
Children
During the holiday periods and in the high season from Monday to Friday, BIBI's children's world with hourly diaper league for babies from 8 months to 2 years by appointment as well as all-day care in the children's club for children aged 3-11 - close to nature, active and varied, often an evening program to 8 p.m., Mountainsplash youth club for ages 12 and up during the holiday periods, play and craft room with slide, cozy corner and child-friendly play equipment, environmental and cooking programs, creative studio, baby equipment (baby bed, high chair, bottle warmer, baby monitor, baby bathtub) upon advance order and subject to availability .
Holiday with your Dog
Four-legged family members are warmly welcomed in the village of SCHÖNLEITN – the village was recently awarded a pet-friendly pet food label by Pfotencheck.de.
In the spacious apartments, you'll find everything you need for a vacation with your dog: a water and food bowl, a cozy dog bed, and a dog towel in the entrance area. The service is complemented by free dog treat bags, an outdoor dog water bar, welcome treats upon check-in, a fenced-in dog park, and dog toys available for purchase at reception. Dogs are also welcome on the guided hikes included in the weekly program. If needed, you can also receive information about veterinarians in the surrounding area. Unfortunately, swimming with dogs is not permitted at the pool or on the lawn at Lake Faak. However, starting from the hotel village, you'll find secluded paths for dog walks and short walks, where, in summer, a dip in the cool water is not out of the question. Particularly practical: There is no lobby, so you can take your pet right outside the door and explore the hotel's surroundings on two legs and four paws.
