UNESCO has classified a large part of the Inner Salzkammergut as a world heritage site worthy of protection. And you can visit it, because this hiking tour combines crystal-clear lakes, an impressive mountain world and enchanting villages with well-marked hiking trails. The region includes 76 lakes - with crystal-clear water, in the magical mountain world with the lush green of the pastures or the bizarre rocks of the up to 3,000 m high Dachstein massif.
