The Hunguest Hotel Gyula has 308 comfortable rooms, divided into two buildings: Building 1 (formerly the Dürer Wing) and the renovated Building 2 (formerly the Munkácsy Wing). The Harmony Spa wellness center is located directly within the hotel and can be used free of charge from check-in to check-out. Equipped with an indoor adventure pool, a Finnish sauna, an infrared sauna, a salt room, an aroma bath, experience showers, and a sun terrace, it offers refreshment and relaxation.
Thermal Bath
A covered and heated connecting corridor leads directly from the hotel to the Palace Pool and the AquaPalota family water park. Admission is included in the room rate according to the number of nights booked and the current opening hours of the available pools.
The Palace Pool was built in the 8.5-hectare palace park of the former Almásy Palace. During its design, particular attention was paid to protecting the trees in the palace gardens. Equipped with a family adventure pool and expanded to include the AquaPalota (6,000 m²), this magical water paradise offers fun for the whole family. The Castle Baths boast a total of 19 indoor and outdoor pools, including healing thermal pools, therapy pools, adventure pools, sports pools (25m indoor and 50m outdoor), wave pools, and baby and children's pools. Water attractions such as a lazy river, geysers, and massage loungers, whirlpools, various slides, including two giant slides, water playgrounds, age-appropriate play areas for children, a swim-up bar, and a mother-baby room. The offerings are complemented by a sauna world with Finnish saunas, an aroma sauna, a steam bath, and an infrared cabin, as well as spacious rest and relaxation areas.
Spa Treatments
For a fee: in the elegant Harmony Spa, the in-house wellness center of the Hunguest Hotel Gyula, you can experience holistic relaxation in a stylish ambience. A variety of aroma oil massages are offered, including those with orange, vanilla, tiare blossom, or almond scents, as well as balsam massages and aroma candle massages. All treatments are performed by experienced therapists in a quiet, protected atmosphere.

For a fee: the Castle Baths offers a modern spa with a comprehensive range of medical treatments. The basis is the 72°C hot, mineral-rich thermal water, which is officially recognized as medicinal water and fills the healing and therapy pools. The water contains high concentrations of bicarbonate minerals, metasilicon, and other trace elements and is used primarily for movement disorders, muscle tension, rheumatic diseases, gynecological inflammation, and skin conditions such as eczema or psoriasis. The services include medical examinations, mud wraps, medical massages, magnetic field therapy, hydrotherapy, and electrotherapy (e.g., galvanic treatments, ultrasound, or microwave therapy), physiotherapy, and therapeutic gymnastics, as well as thermal therapy options such as bubble and weight baths, underwater jet massage, and remedial swimming – therapeutic swimming for rehabilitation. All treatments are supervised by experienced specialists, rheumatologists, physiotherapists, masseurs, medically trained spa staff, and wellness and sports therapists.
