546 kilometers of perfectly groomed slopes and 180 state-of-the-art lifts delight skiers and snowboarders in the Zillertal Valley. Thanks to the high altitude of the Zillertal ski areas – ranging from 630 to 3,250 meters above sea level – and the resulting optimal slope and snow conditions, skiing is possible well into April. The Hochfügen-Hochzillertal-Spieljoch ski area is located at the entrance to the Zillertal Valley, where the valley is at its widest and the sun shines the longest. With over 100 kilometers of perfectly groomed slopes, state-of-the-art lifts, wide family runs and practice areas, deep snow slopes, and snow parks, it offers ideal conditions for beginners, families, and ambitious skiers.
The Hotel Standlhof is located about a 5-minute drive from the Hochfügen-Hochzillertal-Spieljoch ski area. The free ski bus stops right in front of the hotel and takes you stress-free to the valley station of the Spieljochbahn cable car and all other ski areas in the Zillertal.
The Zillertal also has a lot to offer off the slopes. A total of 16 toboggan runs, some of which are illuminated at night, promise fun tobogganing for the whole family. Snowy meadows and forests can be explored on winter hikes or snowshoe hikes. Completely off the beaten track, a ski tour takes you uphill and then downhill in deep snow – ideally with experienced ski guides. In addition, a (high-altitude) cross-country ski trail network totaling 125 km awaits you in the Zillertal, for classic cross-country skiing or skating.
