Whether swimming, diving, sailing or surfing - water sports enthusiasts will get their money's worth here. The region also offers a wide range of sports away from the lake. You can hike comfortably on well-marked hiking trails over green alpine meadows or steeply up between the limestone cliffs of Rofan and Karwendel. Asphalted bike paths and well-developed forest and alpine roads are ideal for your bike and mountain bike tours. The Achensee Golf and Country Club, which is one of the "Leading Golf Courses of Austria", is in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.

The Hotel Post am See has been a special place of peace and relaxation for more than 100 years. The modern, elegant dining room and the cozy fireplace lounge for an afternoon snack invite you to linger and feel good. The PostBar & Bistro with a wonderful lake panorama awaits you with varied bistro cuisine and is a meeting point for innovative connoisseurs on the lake. The hotel's own lakeside bistro, the SeeBar, with its own lakeside jetty exudes Mediterranean character. Comfortable sun loungers, Bali lounges and direct access to the swimming pool invite you to soak up the sun right by the water. In the chilled SeeBar you can enjoy Italian ice cream and coffee specialties as well as cool drinks and fresh snacks in the most beautiful seating area around Lake Achensee. An elegant lobby with reception, elevator and free parking spaces complete the offer. You can use Wi-Fi in the whole hotel for free.
Payable on site: Dog: EUR 20,- per night or EUR 200,- per stay if heavily soiled. Storage space for bicycles and SUP: EUR 10,- per stay. Local tax EUR 3,- per person/night from 14 years.

Cozy comfort and a touch of luxury: the 81 rooms in light wood and in the unmistakable style of the Tyrolean mountains exude a feel-good character. All units have a bath or shower/toilet, hairdryer, wellness basket with bathrobe, telephone, radio, digital satellite TV, safe, WiFi and balcony.
DO (2-2): Economy double room, approx. 26m², with shower/WC, facing the mountain.
DK (2-3): Comfort double room, approx. 30m², with shower/WC.

Meals
Half board: extensive breakfast buffet with daily changing specialties, vitamin corner and breakfast chef for fresh egg dishes until 10:30 a.m. or sleepyhead breakfast à la carte until 11:30 a.m., in the afternoon from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Afternoon snack with a warm dish in the PostBar or wellness snack in the SPA, in the evening 5-course menu of choice including salad buffet. Weekly starter and dessert buffet. 1 x weekly specialty buffet with fine delicacies. Strudel buffet once a week in the afternoon. On Sundays, white sausage breakfast until 11:30 a.m.
Plant-based, wholesome cuisine (v), as well as lactose- and gluten-free meals, is possible at any time.
Activities
Yoga and relaxation program as advertised, bicycle rental, weekly oldies evening with DJ, casino evening or entertainment evening with live music.
For a fee: sailing trip, stand up paddles, diving center, rental of e-bikes and stand-up paddles, rental of e-scooters, outdoor adventure program such as canyoning, rafting, via ferrata and high alpine tours.
