The Hotel Goldener Adler enjoys a convenient location in the quiet Linz district of Urfahr. The Lentia City shopping and business center is right next to the hotel. Several small shops, restaurants, and cafés in the immediate vicinity invite you to stroll and enjoy yourself. The city center of Linz is separated from you only by the Danube River and the Nibelungen Bridge. The Ars Electronica Center is about a 4-minute walk away, the Lentos Art Museum about a 12-minute walk, and the main square can be reached within a 10-minute walk. The hotel is excellently connected to public transportation – several bus and tram stops are just steps away.
How to get to the Design Center Linz (Europaplatz 1, 4020 Linz)
By car: Due to its location at a major transportation hub, the Design Center Linz can be reached within 10 minutes by car, depending on traffic and route. Underground parking and outdoor parking spaces (fees apply) are available at the Design Center.
By public transport: Thanks to Urfahr's excellent transport connections, the Design Center is easily accessible by tram and bus. From the nearby stops, there are direct connections via the city center or, with one transfer, to the Design Center. The journey takes approximately 25–35 minutes, depending on the route. The last stretch (approx. 200–350m) can easily be covered on foot.

On the ground floor, there is a traditionally furnished restaurant where you can enjoy regional specialties and hearty dishes – in the summer months, also in the cozy beer garden.
