The popular family hotel is located in a quiet and idyllic location in the middle of a beautiful mountain landscape above Zell am See. The center and the Schmittenhöhebahn can be reached within a few minutes on foot.

Warmth and family-friendliness are paramount at the family-run Waldhof. The hotel welcomes you in a relaxed and cozy atmosphere with a modern reception area and comfortable lobby, a spacious bar with a comfortable lounge, a restaurant with a generous buffet and show cooking, a wine cellar, a charming traditional Austrian-style lounge, and two seminar rooms. A ski storage room with lockers and ski boot dryers is located in the adjacent building, and the hotel also offers an elevator, electric vehicle charging stations (for a fee), and free parking. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel.

Meals

Half board plus: breakfast buffet with a natural food corner and various soft drinks, après-ski snack from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm with soups, cold cuts and/or cake, dinner buffet from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm with live cooking stations and a large salad buffet. Italian evening once a week. Barbecue evening once a week.
All Inclusive from 13.3. - 8.4. with the addition of lunch or a packed lunch, as well as non-alcoholic beverages, draft beer, house wine, schnapps, coffee and tea from 7:30 am to 11:00 pm.
Christmas and New Year's Eve buffets included.

Winter fun

Thanks to the Ski ALPIN CARD, endless mountain fun on 408 kilometers of slopes awaits you in the Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See, Kitzsteinhorn Kaprun and Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn regions, with just one ski ticket.
Whether it's sunny skiing in spring or skiing at Christmas - the Schmittenhöhe is worth a visit in every season. In addition to 77 kilometers of perfectly groomed slopes, you can also expect highlights such as the longest fun slope in the world, two children's areas, a ski movie route, a night slope and of course numerous huts. During your ski holiday in Zell am See, the Kitzsteinhorn glacier ski area in Kaprun is within reach. Natural snow slopes, varied routes for freeriders, three snow parks and Austria's largest superpipe for freestylers await skiers and snowboarders on the Kitzsteinhorn. In winter, the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn leaves hardly anyone cold as one of the largest and most varied ski areas in Austria with 270 kilometers of slopes, numerous snow parks and much more.
When the snow conditions are good, a ski path leads from the hotel directly to the CityXpress valley station, the direct entrance to the Schmittenhöhe ski area, and back again. A ski bus stop is only 60m from the hotel. A ski rental is available in the house.
Directly behind the Waldhof is the public toboggan run, which is open depending on the snow conditions and also invites you to enjoy fun runs in the evenings. The entrance to the cross-country ski trail network, which includes 55 kilometers of slopes, is around 5 km away.

Wellness

The spacious wellness area, spanning approximately 1,000 m², is divided into the Waldhof.Spa with a nude area (18+) featuring a Finnish sauna, sanarium, outdoor earth sauna, steam room, infrared cabin, and two whirlpools, and the Family.Spa with an indoor pool (13 x 7 m) with an integrated whirlpool area and a family-friendly textile sauna. The offerings are rounded out by a year-round heated outdoor pool (6 x 10 m), several relaxation rooms with a vitality bar, and an outdoor terrace.
Dry water massage is available for an additional fee.

Children

Indoor play area for all ages, approximately 300m², with a variety of exciting activities and attractions – from the Youngster Area and Fun Park to the Soccer & Interactive Room, there's plenty to discover.
