The Hotel Bioterme is located in the midst of peaceful and unspoiled nature in the thermal region of northeastern Slovenia. It is the first hotel in the region to be awarded the European Ecolabel.
Surrounded by green hills and impressive scenery, nothing stands in the way of an idyllic vacation. The surrounding area is ideal for walking, hiking, cycling, or active Nordic walking. Golf enthusiasts will find the nearest golf course about 20 km away. Excursions to the following highlights are also worthwhile: Ptuj, the oldest town in Slovenia (22 km), the Jeruzalem Wine Route (18 km), and Ljutomer (13 km), known for its trotting races in summer.
Facilities
Individual and environmentally friendly - this is how the Hotel Bioterme presents itself, which is the only sustainably built hotel in the region. It attaches great importance to environmental protection and has its own energy station. The furnishings, made from natural materials, give you enough space to relax and switch off. Soft organic colours without harmful additives underline the feel-good atmosphere.
In the hotel restaurant, you can enjoy a selection of regional and international dishes as well as healthy dishes from organic farming as part of the half-board programme. The à la carte restaurant awaits you in an elegant ambience with culinary delights from traditional Slovenian and Mediterranean cuisine. In the warmer months, a large sun terrace invites you to enjoy your meal. There is also a lounge area with a cosy bar, a self-service restaurant in the thermal park and several conference and multi-purpose rooms for events. Lift, free parking spaces at the hotel and an e-charging station (subject to charge) are available. WLAN can be used free of charge. Pets are not allowed.

Rooms
You'll feel at home from the very first day in the hotel's 73 "healthy" rooms and suites. The furnishings are made of solid wood and natural materials. Special switches prevent electrosmog, and the walls are painted with organic paints without harmful additives. All rooms also feature a bathroom with bathtub or shower/WC, hairdryer, bathrobe, air conditioning, telephone, flat-screen TV, safe, minibar, Wi-Fi, and some have a balcony.

Wellness
The hotel's thermal outdoor pool on the first floor of the hotel with a 100m² water surface, indoor entrance, water loungers and massage bath is exclusively available to you during the summer months. You can relax on the sun terrace with a nudist corner.
Thermal Bath
The hotel is directly connected to the thermal park via a connecting corridor and is available to you all day on both the day of arrival and the day of departure. A special feature of the Bioterme is the thermal mineral water, which is suitable for recreational and professional athletes due to its balneological properties, as well as for medical purposes, as it has a positive effect on maintaining the musculoskeletal system and the spine.
The bathing area offers five outdoor and five indoor pools with a water temperature between 30 and 36°C on an approx. 2,000m² water surface, including swimming pools, massage pools, relaxation pools, children's pools and a whitewater channel. In the winter season, 1-2 outdoor pools and all indoor pools are open. You can relax wonderfully in the relaxation areas, on the sun terrace or on the lawn in the shade of the trees.
The sauna world with indoor and outdoor sauna, herbal sauna, infrared cabin and steam bath can be used free of charge every other day (on the day of departure for an additional charge).
Spa Treatments
For a fee: professional massages and cosmetic treatments are offered in the wellness center. Hot stone massages, classic full-body massages with essential oils, partial massages, anti-stress massages, therapeutic massages, foot massages or body peelings allow you to gather new energy for everyday life. The range is complemented by classic beauty treatments, manicures and pedicures as well as a comprehensive range of Ayurveda treatments such as Byangam (Ayurvedic full-body massage), Shiro Abhyangam (head massage), yoga and meditation. Enjoy time together with a harmony bath for two or a couples treatment.
