The Hotel Alpenhof has a quiet and sunny position at the entrance of St. Jakob. The Defereggen valley, one of the three East Tyrolean high mountain valleys, is located in the middle of the national park Hohe Tauern, surrounded by almost untouched nature.

Away from mass tourism, the family-friendly hotel invites you to relax with a wide range of offers. A spacious lobby with reception and bar by the open fireplace, a panoramic winter garden and a heated ski cellar with boot dryer await you in a charming ambience. In the 3 restaurant areas with a pine parlor and a Tyrolean parlor, you will be served culinary delights from Austrian and Italian specialties. There is a lift and free parking as well as charging points for electric vehicles (for a fee). WiFi is free throughout the hotel.

Rooms
The 84 rooms offer the highest level of comfort and a breathtaking view of the three-thousand-meter peaks of the Defereggen Valley. All rooms are equipped with a bathroom with bathtub/toilet, hairdryer, satellite TV, safe, mini fridge, WiFi and seating area, as well as a wellness kit with a loaner bathrobe, towel and slippers for the duration of your stay.

Meals
Charme All Inclusive: generous Austrian breakfast buffet with organic corner and Italian coffee specialities, in the afternoon from 2.30 pm to 5 pm cake and snacks from the buffet, dinner with cold starters, soups and salads from the buffet, choice menu or themed buffet. Drinks (soft drinks, draft beer, red/white house wine, Prosecco, selected long drinks and cocktails, spirits, water, coffee, espresso, cappuccino, cocoa, tea) according to the Charme all-inclusive card from 12:00 p.m. to 10 p.m. included. Gluten-free, vegetarian and lactose-free food on request.

Winter fun
The insider tip for winter sports enthusiasts! Away from the stressful mass tourism of many other ski areas, the Brunnalm impresses above all with its manageability. Awarded the Tyrolean seal of approval, it offers 24 fantastic kilometers of pistes, including approx. 5km of freeride pistes, 7 lifts, a children's area with a ski kindergarten and a fun park. Most of the slopes are also very easy to ski with children, which guarantees that the little ones will have fun skiing.
The hotel's free shuttle bus (timetable as posted) takes you daily to the valley station of the St. Jakob-Brunnalm ski center and back. A cross-country ski trail leads right past the hotel. The stop of the free public ski bus is at the hotel driveway.
The approx. 70 km long network of cross-country trails in the Defereggental is particularly characterized by its guaranteed snow from the end of November to the end of April. In addition, a large selection of toboggan runs, opportunities for curling and ice skating, horse-drawn sleigh rides and winter walks right in front of the hotel ensure winter variety.

Wellness
The wellness area (opening hours are posted) features a 12x6m indoor pool, Finnish sauna, steam bath, aroma cabin, infrared cabin, and relaxation room. Massages are available for a fee.

Care for children aged 4-12 years, 6 days a week in the afternoon/evening as advertised on site, with a varied program, children's lunch by prior arrangement and accompanied by parents, playroom with toys and games.
