The extraordinary Heritage.Hotel Hallstatt. is located between the mountains and the lake, in the middle of the UNESCO World Heritage site of Hallstatt.
Hallstatt is world-famous - and of course has a lot to offer: the “Hallstatt World Heritage Museum” with its cultural treasures from 7,000 years of history, the ossuary in the Michaelskapelle and of course the famous salt mines. With its emerald green color, Lake Hallstatt is one of the most impressive and at the same time mystical lakes in the Salzkammergut. During your vacation, you can explore the secrets of the lake on a boat trip.
Facilities
The Heritage.Hotel Hallstatt combines three historic townhouses into a truly unique hotel: The main building, Kainz, is located directly at the boat landing and welcomes you with a reception area, a breakfast area, and the à la carte restaurant Seeauer. This restaurant, with its small bar and lake-view terrace, is a popular meeting place for locals and visitors alike. Here you can enjoy excellent Austrian classics and regional delicacies from the Salzkammergut region, as well as specialty coffees and teas, delightful desserts, and delicious ice cream sundaes. The historic, castle-like Haus Stocker – Hallstatt's oldest house, dating back over 400 years – is about a 3-minute walk from the main building and offers a romantic, welcoming atmosphere with a small front garden. Haus Seethaler is about a 5-minute walk from the main building and boasts breathtaking lake views thanks to its slightly elevated hillside location. Bathrobes and umbrellas are available for loan at reception. Wi-Fi is free in all buildings. Haus Stocker and Haus Seethaler do not have elevators.
Payable on site: Public parking lot P1 with shuttle service on arrival/departure (every half hour between 9:00 am and 7:00 pm): approx. EUR 18,- per 24 hours. Dog on request: EUR 21,- per night (not allowed in the shuttle from P1 or in the restaurant). Tourist tax: EUR 3.50 per person/night for guests aged 15 and over.
Rooms
The 55 individually furnished rooms have a bathroom with bathtub and/or shower, toilet, hairdryer, L’Occitane care products, telephone, IP TV (Netflix), safe, minibar, WiFi, Nespresso machine including capsules and tea service, and some have a balcony and lake view. In the listed buildings, no two rooms are the same, each enchants with its own story.
DS (2-2): Standard double room without balcony, 18-22m², with market view in Haus Kainz or limited lake view in the other houses.
DD (2-3): Deluxe double room, 22-26m², with lake view in Haus Kainz or balcony and (limited) lake view in the other houses.
DU (2-3): Superior double room, 23-40m², with lake view and balcony or lake view and small terrace with garden in Haus Kainz and lake view and terrace in Haus Seethaler.
SF (2-4): Family Suite Standard in Haus Stocker without balcony, approx. 40m², with bedroom, living room with pull-out sofa and market view
JS (2-4): Junior Suite, 45-55m², with lake view and balcony in Haus Kainz or separate bedroom and living room with pull-out sofa and balcony with lake view in the other houses.
DX (1-1): Superior room for single use.
The allocation of rooms in the individual houses is the responsibility of the hotel.
Meals
Generous breakfast buffet including prosecco and fresh smoked fish specialties.
Activities
For a fee: every Wednesday evening tour of the salt mines in Bad Aussee.
