The extraordinary Heritage.Hotel Hallstatt is located between mountain and lake, in the middle of the UNESCO World Heritage site of Hallstatt.
Hallstatt is world-famous - and of course has a lot to offer: The "Hallstatt World Heritage Museum" with its cultural treasures from 7,000 years of history, the ossuary in the Michaelskapelle and of course the famous salt mines. With its emerald green color, Lake Hallstatt is one of the most impressive and at the same time most mystical lakes in the Salzkammergut. During your vacation, explore the lake's mysteries on a boat trip, see the lake from above, or dive deep and explore underwater archeology and biology.

Facilities

The Heritage.Hotel Hallstatt combines three historic town houses into one very special hotel: The main building Kainz is located directly at the ship landing stage and has a reception, a breakfast area, a café and an excellent à la carte restaurant with a sun terrace and classic Austrian and regional delicacies from the Salzkammergut. The historic, castle-like Haus Stocker - the oldest house in Hallstatt with over 400 years - welcomes you about 3 minutes from the main house with a romantic feel-good ambience and a small front garden. The Seethaler house is about a 5-minute walk from the main house and awaits you with a fantastic view of the lake due to its slightly elevated hillside location. Rental bathrobes and umbrellas are available at reception. Free WiFi is available in all houses.
Payable on site: Public car park P1 with shuttle service on arrival/departure (every half hour between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m.): EUR 16,- per 24 hours (as of April 2023). Dog on request: EUR 15,- per night (not permitted in the shuttle from P1 and in the restaurant). Local tax EUR 3,- per person/night from the age of 15

Rooms

The 55 individually furnished rooms have a bathroom with bath and/or shower, toilet, hair dryer, telephone, satellite TV, safe, minibar, WiFi, Nespresso machine including tabs and tea service, and some have a balcony and lake view. In the listed buildings, no room is like the other, each one enchants with its own story.
DS (2-2): Standard double room without balcony, 18-22m² with market view in Haus Kainz or limited lake view in the other houses.
DD (2-2): Deluxe double room, 22-26m² with lake view in Haus Kainz or balcony and (limited) lake view in the other houses
DU (2-3): Superior double room, 23-40m² with lake view and balcony or lake view and small terrace with garden in Haus Kainz and lake view and terrace in Haus Seethaler.
SF (2-4): Family Suite Standard in Haus Stocker without balcony, approx. 40m², with bedroom, living room with sofa bed and a view of the market.
JS (2-4): Junior Suite, 45-55m², with lake view and balcony in the house Kainz or separate bedroom and living room with sofa bed and balcony with lake view in the other houses.
DX (1-1): Superior room for single use.
The hotel is responsible for allocating the rooms to the individual houses.

Meals

Generous breakfast buffet including prosecco and fresh smoked fish specialties.

Activities

For a fee: every Wednesday evening tour of the salt mines in Bad Aussee.
