The H₂O Hotel-Therme-Resort is situated on the outskirts of Bad Waltersdorf in a prime location with excellent transport links—close to the A2 motorway and just about 35 minutes from Graz and 1.5 hours from Vienna.
The rolling hills of the Styrian thermal spa and volcanic region offer a wide range of outdoor activities. Numerous cycling and hiking trails wind through forests, meadows, and vineyards. Golfers will find an 18-hole course set amidst the hilly landscape of Bad Waltersdorf. Excursion options include Herberstein Castle and Zoo, the Zotter Chocolate Factory, and Styrassic Park. Local wine taverns invite visitors to discover the culinary specialties of the thermal spa region.
Facilities
The popular family hotel welcomes guests with a friendly lobby and reception area. Overlooking the thermal pools and adjacent to the "Games World" (indoor play area), the hotel bar serves as the resort's hub, inviting the whole family to relax and unwind. The spacious hotel restaurant assigns a dedicated table to each guest for the duration of their stay. Dining options include the hotel bar, Arena Bar, snack bar (summer only), pool bar, family restaurant, main hotel restaurant, and the thermal spa restaurant. Air-conditioned rooms are available for events and seminars. A SMATRICS charging station and three on-site EV charging stations (fee applies) are available. A large car park directly in front of the hotel is free of charge. Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel at no extra cost. Pets are not permitted.

Rooms
The pleasantly appointed double rooms feature an inviting, natural ambiance and thoughtful design. Each room includes a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, a spa bag containing a bathrobe and bath towel (on loan), air conditioning (summer), flat-screen TV with USB port, safe, and Wi-Fi. Special attention has been paid to the needs of families regarding the room's layout, furnishings, and functionality.

Thermal Bath
A connecting corridor takes you from the hotel directly to the children's thermal baths. Entry is included in the room price from 9 a.m. on the day of arrival to 11 a.m. on the day of departure; the rooms are available from 3 p.m. on the day of arrival. The child-free sauna area (from 15 years) with several saunas, aromatic steam bath, tepidarium, infrared cabin, thermal pool and over 5,000m² of sauna garden can be used for an additional charge.
The H₂O children's thermal bath is the fun resort with a particularly great fun factor - especially for families and children! Over 30,000m² of water and adventure area indoors and outdoors, numerous water attractions such as wave pools with Acapulco Beach, lazy river, champagne loungers and massage jets but also spectacular slides, including the mega-wide double tire slide “Blue Lightning” with a length of 100m and the fast turbo slide “ H₂O-Speedy” with touch points promise endless fun. Enjoy colorful cocktail creations in the Pool Bar or relax in the gemstone whirlpool and star pool. The little ones can have fun in the sun-drenched HopiHo water play garden, in the clown pool or in the baby pool. While sports enthusiasts stretch out in the refreshing sports pool, sun seekers make themselves comfortable on the well-kept lawn. A connecting corridor takes you to the H₂O Arena, an extended relaxation area with 1,400m² of sunbathing area.
Spa Treatments
Available for an additional fee, the massage area invites you to relax and indulge with its diverse range of treatments. Professional massages—spanning everything from classic and aromatic oil massages to honey massages—as well as body treatments can work wonders. Special massages for babies and children ensure the little ones are well looked after, while massages for expectant mothers offer a chance to unwind.
Children
There's always something going on! At HopiHo Play World, children experience a new adventure every day. The action park and the play world are just a few of the highlights of the children's hotel. The trained H₂O animation team entertains young and old daily with plenty of action, games, and water fun. Next to the hotel is a large outdoor children's playground and a climbing course. So that parents can also have some time for themselves, free childcare is offered daily for children ages 3 and up. In the lobby, the game corner with air hockey, pool tables, and much more provides fun and entertainment for all ages.
