Decorated in an alpine lifestyle design, the 4* family adventure hotel welcomes you with a stylish lobby lounge area with reception, library and comfortable seating by the open fireplace. Alpine tradition meets Mediterranean lightness: enjoy delicious Carinthian cuisine combined with the most popular dishes from Italy in the designer Sonnenalpe restaurant with various rooms. A cozy atmosphere and a varied selection of drinks await you at any time of day at the spacious Gioia Bar. Sample high-quality wines and spirits that perfectly round off your Mediterranean-Alpine dinner. The hotel also has a ski depot, several elevators and free parking spaces subject to availability on site. WiFi is free in all areas.

Meals
Falkensteiner full board: rich breakfast buffet with a vitality corner and many regional delicacies, light lunch snack from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., afternoon snack at the bar from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., daily changing theme buffets with front cooking stations in the evening. Christmas menu included.
A selection of gluten- and lactose-free products as well as vegan and vegetarian options are available on request and pre-order.

Winter fun
Whether for skiing or snowboarding, soaking up the sun or having fun in a hut: the Nassfeld ski area is one of the largest and most diverse ski areas in Carinthia. 110 kilometers of slopes of all levels of difficulty and 40 different slopes offer the perfect stage for everyone - from beginners to professionals. A real highlight for all freestyle fans is the Nassfeld Snow Park. Here, both skiers and snowboarders get their money's worth and can perform their tricks on various lines. You can also test yourself on one of the ski movie race tracks, of which you will also receive a video. 25 different restaurants and ski huts invite you to take a leisurely break.
The Falkensteiner Hotel Sonnenalpe impresses with its excellent location directly on the slopes with ski runs from and to the hotel. A ski and snowboard rental including service is located directly in the hotel. A ski school is located in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. You can buy ski passes at reception at reduced prices.
Away from the slopes, you can expect 80 kilometers of cross-country ski trails of all levels of difficulty, including a high-altitude trail, 55 kilometers of winter hiking trails, five toboggan runs, three of which are illuminated, 7 km² of natural ice on the Weissensee and Pressegger See, horse-drawn sleigh rides, ski tours and snowshoe hikes.

The approximately 1,700 m² Acquapura SPA and wellness area offers an indoor pool connected to a heated outdoor pool by a canal, a whirlpool with unobstructed views of the surrounding mountain landscape, and a 15-meter-long indoor water slide. Recharge your batteries in the sauna area, which includes a Finnish panoramic sauna with an ice fountain and guided sauna infusions, a bio sauna, a steam bath, and several relaxation areas.

Holiday with your Dog
Dogs are welcome guests at the Falkensteiner Hotel Sonnenalpe. On arrival, your darling will receive an arrival package with treats and chew bones. A dog blanket, towel, food bowl and scarf are available in the room for your four-legged friend. You can get tips for walks at reception.
