The Explorer Hotel Stubaital is located in a quiet hillside location in the Neder district, at the entrance to Neustift, with a wonderful view over the Stubai Valley and surrounded by the stunning backdrop of the Stubai Alps. The center of Neustift is about 3km away.

The new Explorer Hotel Stubaital, which opened in December 2024, invites you to an environmentally conscious and sporty holiday with its clear lines, cheerful colors and uncomplicated atmosphere. The center of the trendy design hotel, built according to sustainable principles, is the spacious Explorer Lounge with reception, breakfast area, cozy bar with snacks and drinks, seating areas and the Explorer Wall - interactive touchscreens with information about the region, the ski areas and restaurant tips. For a fee, sports equipment can be stored in the heated sports locker or free of charge in the ski cellar. The hotel also has a workbench for getting sports equipment ready, a lift, a conference room, a washing machine with dryer and e-charging stations (for a fee) in the garage. WiFi is available free of charge throughout the hotel.

Winter fun
Four ski areas provide numerous winter sports enthusiasts with unforgettable skiing moments every year. Unlimited skiing fun from October to May in Austria's largest glacier ski area, the Stubai Glacier, a family atmosphere in the Schlick 2000 ski center, the beginner-friendly Serlesbahnen ski area and the challenging slopes of the Elferlifte ensure a varied holiday in the Stubai Valley. The Stubai Valley is considered a particularly family-friendly ski area and offers not only numerous ski schools but also kids' fun offers. The Stubai Glacier also awaits the little ones with the BIG Family children's area, a children's restaurant with an indoor play tower and an ice grotto with an exciting puzzle rally in the eternal ice.
With the free ski bus you can reach all ski areas in the Stubai Valley as well as the Stubai Glacier quickly and easily. A ski bus stop is about 500m from the hotel.
Explore the snowy landscape on a leisurely winter hike or a round of cross-country skis. Well-marked winter hiking trails and cross-country ski trails lead right past the hotel. In total, the region offers 80km of wonderful winter hiking trails and around 60km of cross-country ski trails. A tobogganing trip on one of the 12 natural toboggan runs, awarded the Tyrolean natural toboggan run seal of approval, as well as 4 night toboggan runs promises a lot of fun.
