Following extensive modernization, the historic Fürstenhof is set to open in late summer 2026 under the management of Ensana, Europe’s leading health spa operator.
Ensana Fürstenhof welcomes guests with modern, light-filled spaces, natural materials, a calming color palette, and an atmosphere centered on relaxation and well-being. The open-plan lobby lounge—featuring a fireplace bar and a cozy, living-room-style ambiance—serves as the hotel’s central meeting point, inviting guests to enjoy specialty coffees during the day and cocktails or relaxing moments in the evening. Dining options include a buffet restaurant with stunning panoramic views and the à la carte restaurant "Fürstenstube," which serves regional and international specialties. In keeping with the hotel’s medical wellness concept, the cuisine blends traditional Bavarian specialties with modern culinary trends, placing a strong emphasis on health-conscious preparation and high-quality regional ingredients. A standout feature is the spacious, Tuscan-style panoramic terrace—directly adjoining the restaurant area—which offers views across the Rottal valley. Rooms
The 147 stylishly designed, comprehensively modernized rooms and suites feature a bathroom with a bathtub or shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, minibar, safe, and Wi-Fi. Depending on the category, the rooms offer a balcony or terrace, as well as a lovely view of the surrounding greenery or the Rottal valley. A spa bag containing a bathrobe (on loan), slippers, and a bath towel is provided for the duration of your stay.
DC (2-2): Classic Attic Double Room, approx. 22 m², with shower/WC, queen-size bed (160x200 cm), and dormer window; no balcony.
DK (2-3): Premium Double Room, approx. 25 m², some with balcony or terrace.
DU (2-4): Gallery Junior Suite, approx. 38 m², spanning two floors; features a bedroom and shower on the lower level and a staircase leading to an upper level with an open-plan living area.
SS (2-4): Panorama Suite with balcony or terrace, approx. 48 m², with separate sleeping and living areas.

Meals
Half-board: extensive breakfast buffet with hot drinks and juices; daily changing dinner buffets featuring regional and international specialties. A 5-course gala dinner is served every Saturday.

Golf
Situated within the Bad Griesbach Golf Resort, the hotel offers the ideal setting for a top-tier golf vacation. Guests have access to a total of five 18-hole championship courses—including the Beckenbauer and Porsche courses designed by Bernhard Langer—as well as three 9-hole courses and two 6-hole courses for children. As a hotel guest, you benefit from attractive green fee discounts, reserved tee times, and the "Golf Unlimited" option, which allows you to play two different 18-hole courses in a single day for the price of one. Children and youths up to the age of 15 play for free on the 9- and 18-hole courses. Tee times can be conveniently booked online around the clock.

The pool complex features two indoor pools, a year-round heated outdoor thermal pool, and two whirlpools. All pools are fed by state-certified thermal mineral water from the Bad Griesbach healing springs; its natural properties are particularly valued for alleviating musculoskeletal ailments. The spacious sauna area offers a Finnish sauna, bio-sauna, steam bath, experience showers, a plunge pool, and a salt grotto. Stylish relaxation areas invite you to unwind between sauna sessions. During the summer months, you can also relax on the expansive 1,000 m² sunbathing lawn, which features a sun terrace and panoramic views of the Rottal valley.

Health Treatments
For an additional fee: As Germany’s first Ensana Health Spa Hotel, the Fürstenhof combines decades of experience in health and wellness with natural healing remedies and sound medical expertise. The therapeutic concept is based on fluoride-rich sodium-bicarbonate-chloride thermal water from Bad Griesbach’s state-recognized healing springs. Individually tailored health and prevention programs are offered in the newly created medical treatment rooms. The focus is on musculoskeletal disorders, stress reduction, and the promotion of holistic well-being. Services include medical consultations, physiotherapy, movement therapy, medical massages, hydrotherapy and electrotherapy, fango therapy, inhalation, thermal baths, and heat and pack treatments.
