Overlooking the Dolomites, in the Puster Valley of East Tyrol, the Dolomiten Residenz ****S Sporthotel Sillian is located just a few kilometers from the Italian border. The center of Sillian is about 1 km away. The Hochpustertal ski area is practically a snowball's throw from the hotel.

The popular family-run wellness hotel is a delightful blend of Tyrolean charm and southern Italian flair. In a welcoming atmosphere, you'll find a spacious lobby with reception, a lounge, a cozy traditional-style dining room, a hotel bar, and a seminar room. The light-filled hotel restaurant with its winter garden serves exquisite cuisine, with a focus on regional specialties and mindful, natural nutrition. A ski storage room and boot room with dryers, several elevators, an electric vehicle charging station (for a fee), and free parking complete the amenities. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel.

In a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere, our 100 rooms and suites offer a modern country-house style experience. Each features a spacious bathroom with shower, toilet, hairdryer, complimentary bathrobe and slippers, telephone, radio, satellite TV, safe, and Wi-Fi, and most have a balcony.

Gourmet half-board: Generous breakfast buffet featuring East Tyrolean specialties, afternoon snack for athletes from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, 5-course gourmet menu with choices or themed buffet including salad bar in the evening. Fresh spring water from the East Tyrolean mountain fountain is available all day. Gluten-free, lactose-free, vegan, and vegetarian options are available upon request and advance notice.

Winter fun
Whether you call it "ski al dente" or "Dolomite skiing"—whatever you call the fun on the slopes at Thurntaler, the ski mountain in the Hochpustertal valley—limitless skiing fun is guaranteed. Leisure skiers, families, freeriders, and snowboarders all enjoy carving turns in the snow together in a friendly, almost familial atmosphere. No wonder, given the conditions: 22.4 km of perfectly groomed slopes, a snow park freshly shaped daily with its own park lift, and ski huts bursting with East Tyrolean hospitality.
"Ski in, ski out"—there are only 170 meters between the hotel's front door and the valley station of the hotel's own Hochpustertal ski center. When snow conditions are good, you can ski right back to the hotel. Ski pass service is available at reception (pre-order the day before). A ski rental shop with ski service and the ski school with children's ski lessons are located opposite the hotel.
With 200km of cross-country ski trails amidst stunning natural scenery, Sillian and the Hochpustertal valley are sure to delight every cross-country skier. Access to the cross-country ski trails and the winter hiking network is located right behind the hotel. Several toboggan runs nearby promise fun for all ages.
Wellness
The spacious wellness area promises relaxation and includes a pool complex with an indoor pool and a heated outdoor pool, as well as a sauna area (nude area, adults only) featuring an East Tyrolean bio-steam room, a mountain pine sauna in the outdoor area, a herbal bath, a medieval steam bath, a salt grotto, Kneipp pools, experience showers, and spacious relaxation rooms with waterbeds and an open fireplace.
For a fee: massages, beauty and health treatments with natural cosmetics, including therapeutic baths, scrubs, wraps, pedicures and manicures, and beauty and wellness treatments for kids and teens.
Children
Professional childcare in the Häppi Päpi Kids Club for children aged 3 and up, from Sunday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, with a varied program, as well as a youth program for teens aged 12 and up with one activity per day, a bright children's playroom (approx. 100m²) with direct access to the terrace and hotel lobby, a teen meeting place for young people, a separate indoor children's pool with a giant slide and baby pool, family sauna every Wednesday from 2:00 PM to 7:30 PM for parents with children aged 6 and up, and a children's menu or children's buffet in the evenings.
