Surrounded by the Karwendel Nature Park and the Rofan Mountains, DAS KRONTHALER is an ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours. The Achensee, the "Sea of Tyrol" as the largest lake in Tyrol is also called, is about 1.5km from the hotel.
Original, majestic and idyllic - the natural and mountain world around the Achensee and of course the lake itself are both living and recreational areas. More than 500 kilometers of marked hiking trails, 250 kilometers of (e-)bike routes, 183 kilometers of signposted running routes, numerous climbing and via ferrata routes as well as two perfectly groomed golf courses and much more, the region around Lake Achensee leaves nothing to be desired. As the largest lake in Tyrol, Lake Achensee offers a wide range of water sports such as kitesurfing, sailing or stand-up paddling. The restaurant, included in the full-board package, serves Alpine specialties combined with haute cuisine elements. The hotel also features a hair salon and its own 750m² shopping mall, LustBOXX, showcasing the finest collections from renowned brands such as Ray-Ban, Luis Trenker, and Bogner.
