The Hvězda Health Spa Hotel is an outstanding example of the beautiful architecture found throughout this spa town. Not only does it enjoy a central location right on Goethe Square, next to the Church of St. Mary, but it also combines historic splendor with modern comforts and top-tier service. The famous colonnades are just a short walk away.
Marienbad is one of the most significant spa towns in Europe. Located not far from the German border, the town is nestled within the Slavkov Forest (Kaiserwald), surrounded by wooded mountains, bubbling mineral springs, and lush green spaces. Its most iconic landmarks include the magnificent Main Colonnade adorned with bronze reliefs and intricate ceiling paintings and the neoclassical "Singing Fountain." The surrounding area offers ideal opportunities for hiking and cycling, as well as cross-country skiing during the winter months.

Opened in 1905, Hotel Hvězda is one of the most beautiful buildings in Mariánské Lázně with its historic architecture and elegant interiors. The hotel is connected via a corridor to the Nové Lazně and Centrální Lázně hotels and the Maria Spa. The hotel features 237 recently renovated rooms, equipped with modern amenities and high-quality, stylish furnishings. These elegant rooms which include a bathroom with a bathtub or walk-in shower, toilet, hairdryer, complimentary bathrobe and slippers, telephone, radio, satellite TV, safe, mini-fridge, and Wi-Fi (with some rooms also offering a balcony) provide the perfect setting for relaxation. Guests are accommodated either in the main building, Hvězda, or in the Imperial building, which is connected via a corridor.

Among the hotel’s natural healing resources is its own Balbín mineral spring; its mineral-rich water is used for both drinking cures and carbonated mineral baths. These are complemented by other natural healing resources characteristic of Mariánské Lázně, such as therapeutic mud and natural CO₂. The primary focus is on treating musculoskeletal conditions, though programs addressing respiratory issues and other specific health concerns are also available.
The hotel’s therapy center features over 30 treatment rooms for mineral baths, massages, mud packs, and CO₂ baths, as well as dedicated spaces for inhalations, electrotherapy, and light therapy.
