Dobrna is considered one of the oldest and most traditional spas in Slovenia. The spa's hotels are surrounded by a 200-year-old spa park. Thanks to its excellent location amidst pristine nature on the edge of the Pohorje Mountains, between Maribor and Ljubljana, Terme Dobrna is the perfect vacation spot for both active guests and those seeking relaxation and recuperation. Numerous hiking and walking trails, tennis courts, Nordic walking paths, energy points in the expansive spa park, and a thermal water drinking fountain provide a daily dose of fresh energy. Numerous play and climbing opportunities in the park invite the spa's youngest visitors to play and have fun. Just 12-15 kilometers away, you can test your golfing talent at the Celje Golf Club or take a trip to Lake Velenjsko Jezero. Also recommended are excursions and explorations of the surrounding area, such as the Princely Town of Celje, Velenje, Žalec and the Beer Fountain, the Nordung Space Technology Center, Rogla and the Pohorje Treetop Walkway.
Facilities
Built in 1862, the building has hosted distinguished guests for decades, traveling from far and wide to the spa town of Dobrna. In July 2020, it reopened its doors, renovated into a four-star hotel whose identity and unmistakable charm guarantee complete comfort and intimacy during the stay of even the most discerning guest.
The reception is located in the Hotel Švicarija (7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., approximately a 3-minute walk away). Meals can also be enjoyed at the nearby restaurant in the Hotel Švicarija. Hotel Vita features a café with live music on weekends, a wellness area with swimming pools, the ARBORA Spa with saunas, whirlpools, and a relaxation area, massages and beauty treatments, and the medical center. Hotel Vita is approximately 300 meters from the Boutique Hotel Dobrna. For gourmets, there are two à la carte restaurants: the "Steak & Burger Dobrna" below Villa Higia and the "Mlečna Marijanca" bistro, which offers a select culinary offering. Free Wi-Fi is available. Free parking is available near the hotel. Pets are not allowed.

Wellness
The wellness area and the "adults-only" Arbora SPA at the Hotel Vita can be used free of charge from the day of arrival until the day of departure (even after check-out).

The swimming pool complex includes an indoor pool (approx. 32°C) and an outdoor pool (28-29°C), an indoor and outdoor children's pool with a small slide, a whirlpool (35-36°C), a sunbathing terrace, and a bar serving food and drinks (in summer). Revitalize and strengthen your body in the "adults-only" ARBORA Spa, which features Finnish and Turkish saunas, an infrared sauna, an ice grotto, indoor and outdoor whirlpools, a relaxation area and outdoor terrace with cabanas, a cooling pool, and a self-service bar with drinks, snacks, and fruit.
Spa Treatments
For a fee: at the "La Vita Spa & Beauty" massage and beauty center at the Hotel Vita, you will be pampered from head to toe. Treat your body and mind to a little break with a relaxing cocktail infused with aromatic oils or with an extensive range of massages, including foot reflexology, classic massages, and chocolate massages. The beauty offerings include facials, eyebrow and eyelash care, deep facial cleansing, spa hand care, manicures, pedicures, hair removal, and various body scrubs. A special highlight are the effective treatments for body contouring and facial, neck, and décolleté rejuvenation.
Health Treatments
For a fee: the "Dobrna Medical" medical center was built on the spa's 600 years of experience. The spa's own team of outstanding physicians, certified physiotherapists, and medical specialists will care for you in all health matters. The medical services include gynecology, urology, oncology, neurosurgery, neurology, dermatology, rehabilitation, physiotherapy, and cosmetic surgery. Laboratory tests, ultrasound diagnostics, and preventive check-ups, as well as therapies for sleep disorders and the treatment of Lyme disease, are also offered.
