Location
The farmhouse is situated on a sunny hillside above the town Viehhofen, at the end of a long forest road (about 2km). In winter chains are required.
Distances
The place to shop is Viehhofen in 2km. Ski bus stop in 1km. You can get to the ski circus Saalbach-Hinterglemm with Schönleitenbahn in 4km. Advanced skiers can ski downhill from (from the slope 68/Hecherhütte) over a more than 1km long deep snow descent the house, as long there is enough snow. Ski School in 2km. In summer: ideal starting point for hiking or biking tours. 10km swimming pool Hinterglemm, Zell am See 9km.
Facilities
You will occupy the ground floor and the upper floor, where you have a separate entrance at the rear of the house. The basement floor (hillside) is inhabited by the owner and his mother. Ground floor: anteroom, snuggery with lounge, sofa, satellite TV, kitchenette equipped with electric cooker, oven, dishwasher, fridge, coffee machine and mikrowave. 2 double rooms, bathroom with bath tub, bathroom with shower, sauna, 2 toilets. Upper floor: 2 double rooms, 1 four-bed room (1 double bed and extendable sofa if required). 4 Rooms are with satelite TV. Free Wi-Fi. Wood central heating. Seats and a barbecue are in front of the house.
Additional Costs
Lump-sum € 2,50-/person/night, if wanted sauna € 12,-/night, local tourism tax currently € 2,20/person/night, mobility tax as of the 1st of May 2025 € 0,50/person older than 15/night, final cleaning € 50,-/week. Bed linen can be rented for € 7, -/set.
