In the hotel's own à la carte restaurant Hirschenwirt, a cult-traditional inn, you will be served Styrian delicacies as well as sophisticated creations from all over the world in a cozy atmosphere - accompanied by fine wines. Winter fun
Fun in the snow for the whole family is the motto of the Mariazeller Bürgeralpe - tested and awarded the Styrian piste seal of quality. There are 10 pistes to choose from, each 14 km long and with every level of difficulty, a 2.5 km long illuminated toboggan run and the groomed circular hiking trail "Drei-Seen-Blick" starting at the cable car mountain station. The brand new Bürgeralpe Express (cable car) directly from the center of Mariazell, two 4-seater chair lifts as well as a drag lift and a platter lift ensure an effortless ascent. The children's ski area of the Amigos ski school with magic carpet and cable lift round off the offer.
Just 50m from the hotel is the entrance to the "Bürgeralpe Express", which takes skiers and snowboarders, winter hikers and tobogganers quickly and easily directly to the Bürgeralpe ski area.
Whether you are on touring skis or snowshoes, explore the winter landscape at your own pace. Cross-country skiers can enjoy around 27km of groomed trails - classic and skating - in the immediate vicinity. The pleasure of sliding across ice can be experienced on the ice rinks in Mariazell and Mitterbach, and anyone who wants to venture under the ice can explore the bottom of Lake Erlauf by ice diving.
