The Prague Castle

Arrive at Prague Castle by coach and your expert guide. The castle complex consists of a large composition of palaces and ecclesiastical buildings of different architectural styles. Once the seat of the Czech kings, the castle became the seat of government of the Czech President in 1918. The New Royal Palace and Gardens were renovated by Slovenian architect Jože Plečnik. On this tour of the interior of the castle you will visit the Royal Palace, St. Vitus Cathedral, St. George's Basilica and the Golden Lane. Your guide will tell you all the important historical details and what role Prague Castle played in Czech history. A charming street of colorful houses, Prague's Golden Lane is one of the most popular areas of the castle grounds. After the visit, descend the Castle Stairs to Lesser Town and continue to Charles Bridge, where the tour ends. Duration approx. 3.5 hours. Entrances included.
