In a top location between mountain and lake, the Hotel zur Post is your perfect starting point for all outdoor activities or a relaxing bathing day at Lake Millstatt. Centrally located in the town center, you can reach the lake in just a few minutes by car, bike or on foot.
Döbriach is located on the east bank of Lake Millstatt, at the foot of the mystical Mirnock Mountain, and is the gateway to the Nockberge Biosphere Park. The nature around the Hotel zur Post is simply wonderful and has a lot in store for young and old adventurers. Whether climbing on the climbing wall right on the lake, exploring the wild beauty of the Nockberge Biosphere Park or having a water fight in the lake - the possibilities are almost endless. The unspoilt southern shore is ideal for walking or cycling from Döbriach. Beautiful tours can be set up from here, for example a lap around the lake (29km) on the specially designed footpath and cycle path. Located on the high plateau above Lake Millstatt - approx. 8 km from the hotel, the Millstätter See golf course offers a breathtaking panorama.

Tradition, family and hospitality are very important at the Hotel zur Post. Family-run for 4 generations, the active and gourmet hotel welcomes you in a cultivated atmosphere with a reception, a lounge with a library, a 400-year-old wine cellar, a drying room for your hiking equipment, a lift and free parking spaces. You will be spoiled with delicacies from the regional Carinthian cuisine and traditional dishes from Austria in the modern dining room, in the stylish parlors and in summer in the rustic chestnut garden of the hotel. In the scene bar "PostSkriptum" you can relax at the end of the day with casual cocktails and chilled music. Approximately 1.5km from the hotel is the hotel's own, well-kept bathing beach with a play area and sunbathing area of 6,000m², changing rooms, loungers and parasols. Here you can enjoy the summer to the fullest. You can use Wi-Fi in the whole hotel for free.

The 38 lovingly designed and renovated rooms in a bright and friendly design have a bath or shower/toilet, hair dryer, radio, satellite TV, safe and Wi-Fi.
DS (2-2): Mirnock double room, approx. 18m², without balcony.
DK (2-3): Nockberge double room, approx. 25m² with balcony.
DF (2-4): Rosennock family room, approx. 26m², parents' and children's bedroom with bunk bed.
DU (2-4): Großglockner family room, approx. 39m², 2 separate bedrooms with TV, 2 bathrooms and some with balcony.
ES (1-1): Single room, approx. 18m².

Meals

Rich breakfast buffet. When booking half-board (days off), there is a varied choice of menus in the evening, also vegetarian, with a salad buffet. Culinary highlights such as grill & chill in the guest garden with DJ, Carinthian farmer's buffet or Alpe Adria buffet.

Activities

3 x weekly guided hikes, 1-2 x weekly guided bike and mountain bike tours, 1 x weekly yoga on the beach, ball games, boccia and table tennis on the beach, rental of hiking poles and backpacks, rental of mountain bikes, occasional live music at the bar in the evening .
For a fee: wine tasting in the 400-year-old wine cellar, surfing and sailing courses, stand-up paddling, taster golf.
