The modern design sports hotel is located on the outskirts of Gaschurn, about 1km from the center. It impresses with its location in the picturesque Montafon and the associated panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Right next to the Explorer Hotel is the Mountain Beach, a natural swimming lake with a rafting tube slide, kiosk and much more.
In the middle of the Alps, the hotel is the ideal starting point for mountain bike and climbing tours as well as long hikes. Back and forth, up and down, over 1,400 km of marked hiking trails lead over lush meadows, through forests, from hut to hut, past alpine farms, over heights and ridges to the peaks of the Montafon mountain ranges. 270km of cycling, mountain bike and e-bike routes - from leisurely tours to portage passages for mountain bike freaks - the Montafon offers a variety of bike routes that are worth conquering. Thrills are guaranteed on the Golm adventure mountain with the flying fox or in the forest ropes course.
Facilities
The passive house hotel, built according to sustainable principles, invites you to spend an active holiday with clear lines, bright colors and an uncomplicated atmosphere. In the Explorer Lounge with seating areas, breakfast area and a cozy bar with delicious snacks, you can relax perfectly. The sports equipment is brought into shape on the hotel's own workbench. All useful information and tips about the region can be found on the "Explorer Wall" - an interactive touch screen. In addition, the house has a reception, 2 conference rooms, heated sports lockers for mountain bikers (for a fee), washing machine and dryer, a workbench with tools and equipment and a bike washing area. Elevator is available in the house. WiFi is available free of charge.
Payable on site: parking space EUR 1,- per night. Garage EUR 8.80 per night. Dog EUR 20,- per night. Local tax EUR 2,50 per person/night from the age of 15.
Rooms
The 100 design rooms are functional and trendy and, in addition to shower/toilet, hair dryer, flat screen TV, safe and Wi-Fi, offer plenty of storage space for your sports equipment. The highlight is the large bench in the panoramic window with comfortable cushions, on which you can also relax as a couple.
