The Alpenhotel Mittagspitze is surrounded by idyllic Alpine countryside, located in a fantastic hillside in the center of Damüls.

Facilities

The traditional boutique hotel in elegant, modern design awaits you with authentic Vorarlberg hospitality at the highest level. In the reception area with reception and free internet corner, in the cozy common rooms with a wonderful panoramic view, in the lounge and at the hotel bar with conservatory you can enjoy the highest comfort. Vorarlberg specialties as well as international classics are served in the cozy panorama restaurant as part of the half-board menu. The matching wines come from the own wine cellar. A seminar room and ski and drying room as well as lift and free parking according to availability complete the offer. Pets are not allowed. You can use Wi-Fi in the whole hotel for free.
Payable on spot: garage on request: EUR 15,- per night. Local tax: EUR 2,50 per person/night from 15 years.

Rooms

The 40 rooms and suites in classic or modern alpine style are generous and offer plenty of space and wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. Equipped with bath tub or shower/WC, hair dryer, bathrobe during your stay, telephone, satellite TV, safe, Wi-Fi and some with balcony, they also have every imaginable comfort. The rooms are located partly in the main building and partly in the house Panorama (connected to the main building).
DS (2-2): Double room with sitting area in the main house, about 20m², some with balcony.
DK (2-4): Comfort Double room in the main building, approx. 25m² with pull-out sofa, some with balcony.
DD (2-4): Comfort Double room deluxe in the Panorama house, approx. 35m², very spacious room with balcony, bathtub and separate toilet.
JS (4-6): generous Junior Suite in the Panorama house, approx. 47m², with a double bed on the ground floor and additional beds on the gallery and balcony.
ES (1-1): Single room, approx. 13m², shower/toilet, some with balcony.

Meals

¾ board: rich breakfast buffet, afternoon snack with alternating soup pot, cake buffet or snack platter. 5-course menu of your choice including salad buffet in the evening. "Regional specialties" once a week. 1 x weekly mulled wine party in front of the hotel.
5-course candlelight dinner, fondue evening and wine tasting with Austrian wines possible for a surcharge.

Activities

Included: 1 x weekly guided lantern hike with mulled wine organized by the tourism board.

Winter fun

The Damüls-Mellau ski area offers almost unlimited skiing pleasure with its 29 modern cable car facilities, 109km of superb ski slopes of all difficulty levels, a 120m long, illuminated ski tunnel and the best snowpark in Vorarlberg. Damüls and Mellau complement each other perfectly with their natural conditions. Sunlit southern slopes, best slope conditions into the spring at the northern slopes and plenty of snow: since 2005 Damüls carries the title "snowiest permanently inhabited village in the world" with about 10m of fresh snow per winter.
Directly at the hotel is the entrance to the ski run to the chairlift "Uga-Express". A ski slope will take you back to the hotel. A ski rental and the ski bus stop can be found at the valley station.
Over 40km of perfectly maintained high-altitude and cross-country trails, more than 30km of idyllic winter hiking trails and a 3,5km long natural toboggan run make Damüls-Mellau a winter sports adventure world for the whole family.

Included: the hotel's relaxation area extends over 400m² and includes amenities such as an indoor pool, sauna, steam room, infrared cabin, ice cold spring, light therapy, water treading pool, small fitness area, experience showers and a panoramic relaxation room with juice and tea bar.
