An evening in Schönbrunn

This package combines the best Schönbrunn has to offer: Visit of the palace (9am–5pm), an exquisite dinner in the Café-Restaurant Residenz (6.30pm) and the cassic sounds of Mozart and Strauß in the Orangerie (8.30pm).

• Castle tour: Empress Maria Theresa made Schloss Schönbrunn into her magnificent summer residence. All her successors resided at the palace during summer and ruled the empire from there. Especially Emperor Franz Joseph liked to spend his time at the Palace Schönbrunn. Take a tour of the glamorous and private rooms of the emperors accompanied by an audio guide.
   
• Dinner: At the Ehrenhof ('Court of Honor'), right beside the entrance of Schloss Schönbrunn, in the rooms of the former imperial kitchen lies the Café-Restaurant Residenz. Here, you will enjoy a three-course dinner by candlelight.
  
  
• Concert: In walking distance from the main entrance to Schloss Schönbrunn and the Café-Restaurant Residenz lies the Orangery Schönbrunn. Since imperial times, this was a place for courtly festivities and banquets. In this historic ambience the Schönbrunn Palace Orchestra performs the most beautiful works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Johann Strauss.
