Leopold Museum
The Leopold Museum is a unique treasury of the Viennese Art Noveau, the Wiener Werkstätte and the Expressionism.
The Leopold Museum which is one of the most visited museums at the coolest cultural location in Vienna, the MuseumsQuartier, presents the largest Egon Schiele collection in the world as well as master works of the founder of the Viennese Art Noveau style (Secession) Gustav Klimt.
The Leopold Museum presents also unicum of the Wiener Werkstätte from Josef Hofmann to Koloman Moser which are considered to be art works of the international design history.
Baroque meets Modernity: the architecture of museums is a bizzare contrast to the ensemble of the imperial court stables: a light-flooded cubus made from white shell limestone.
Tip: the panoramic windows give a unique view to the city center.
