In summer 2011 a premiere will mark the Opera Festival in St. Margarethen: for the first time in its history, the Opera Festival will present “Don Giovanni", the most famous opera of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The private-foundation Esterhazy offers in cooperation with the opera festival St. Margarethen this masterly opera at a new adapted stage, the Ruffinibühne. The nature backdrop of this stage builds a unique setting for this production.
