One of the best chamber orchestras of the world, Rococo and Biedermeier costumes, 2 opera singers and a ballett-dancer couple present the most wonderful melodies of Mozart and Johann Strauss.

The “Wiener Residenzorchester”, the chamber orchestra with a long tradition, was founded to perform pieces of the Viennese Classicism with highest perfection. Numerous events were held in the last decades in the most famous palaces of Vienna. The orchestra plays pieces from Mozart to Johann Strauss with an instrumentation of 10 to 40 musicians.

The programme includes Mozart’s "Ouverture zu Figaros Hochzeit" (Overture to The Marriage of Figaro), „Eine kleine Nachtmusik" (A Little Night Music) as well as arias and duets from "Don Giovanni" and "Die Zauberflöte" (The Magic Flute), Johann Strauss’s "Donauwalzer" (Blue Danube Waltz), "Kaiserwalzer" (Emperor Waltz), "Tritsch Tratsch Polka" (Chit-Chat Polka), "Radetzkymarsch" (Radetzky March), arias and duets from the "Wiener Blut" (Viennese Blood), the "Fledermaus" (The Bat), the "Zigeunerbaron" (The Gipsy Baron) and much more.
